This May, we’re giving them a taste of all that and more.
Join us for Tennessee Whiskey Week, a (month-long) chance for Tennesseans, tourists and travelers to experience the Trail and savor our state’s native spirits through immersive experiences across the state focused on four key areas: culinary, cocktails, competition & our distilleries.

Celebrate tnwhiskeytrail Tennessee Whiskey Week with a special whole hog roast by Pitmaster Sam Jones and Chef trevorstockton featuring nelsonsgreenbrier on May 8!
Third generation pitmaster Sam Jones of samjonesbbq and the famous skylightinnbbq was named a 2018 James Beard Foundation Awards Semifinalist for “Best Chef: Southeast” and published the cookbook Whole Hog BBQ: The Gospel of Carolina Barbecue. Inspired by his family’s legacy and hard work, Sam has dedicated his life to the art of making traditional Eastern North Carolina-style pork barbecue.
Be our guest Wednesday, May 8 to enjoy an evening in the Sperry Tent with Tennessee-based Nelson’s Green Brier alongside Sam Jones and Trevor Stockton. Sample a selection of Tennessee whiskies as dinner is prepared over an open fire.

The Distillers Dinner last night at bogandbarley was incredible, the food and drinks were great! Great conversations and laughs with many. All around fantastic evening!
So thankful I got to visit with this incredible person once more before she heads off to Kentucky today to start on her next chapter. Grateful for friendships, relationships and support that has come over the last few years as we have built back up bourbonwomentn. An impression was made on me at that first event just before the pandemic hit in 2020 that I wanted more. I’m appreciative for the support you and megabridges901 have provided these last 2 years!

Had a great time at the Master Distillers dinner for TN Whiskey week at thechefandi - had an engaging conversation with a group of women visiting from Maryland, and enjoyed all the courses and pairings (but for me, my personal favorites were course 1 - chorizo braised rabbit with kimchi, tzatziki and wonton and course 2) duck poutine). Course 1 was paired with jackdanielsus_ single barrel, Course 2 with prichardspirits crystal rum. Courses 3 (burrata with fig jam) and Courses 4 (elk and sweet potatoes) were paired with a bigmachinevodka cocktail and borchettabourbon. Today is #internationaltnwhiskeyday which makes for a perfect excuse to share all about the amazing things that happened over the month—debuting a pet friendly trip guide-“Tails on the Trail” and a Pawsport program, #TNWhiskeyWeek launching month-long and statewide, hosting a TN spirits cocktail competitions, and to raising a toast and saying see you soon to an amazing distiller… it’s a pretty great job but May might also kill me! 🥃
