Just in time for Thanksgiving, whip up Baked Lynchburg Candied Apples, deliciously sweet with a little festive kick from @jackdaniels_us. Save this recipe to be the star of every holiday table you gather around!
Baked Lynchburg Candied Apples
▪️6 cups peeled and sliced tart apples
▪️3 cups sugar
▪️1/2 cup Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey
▪️1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, cut into slices
Heat the oven to 375F. Place the apples in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the sugar over the apples. Pours in the Jack Daniel’s and dot with butter. Bake 45 minutes or until the apples are tender and the sauce is bubbly.
Yields: 16 servings
