New Sorghum Spirit from Nashville Craft Distillery
First came Naked Biscuit Sorghum Spirit. Now Nashville Craft Distillery’s inaugural craft creation is available in a barrel-aged version: Golden Biscuit Sorghum Spirit.
This new, limited release has all the qualities that we love about our first launch – only older and wiser. Nashville Craft distillers took Naked Biscuit – produced using 100 percent pure sorghum syrup from Tennessee’s Muddy Pond Sorghum Mill – and finished it in bourbon barrels. Expect heightened depth and complexity with vanilla cake batter on the nose. It’s smooth on the pallet with subtle hints of oak. There’s nothing else quite like it.
Golden Biscuit continues Nashville Craft Distillery’s tie to local sourcing: Sweet sorghum cane has been grown in Tennessee for generations. Unlike sugar cane, it is well adapted to our state’s climate, making it an ideal ingredient to ferment and distill into delicious, locally sourced specialty spirits. For decades, Muddy Pond’s Guenther family business has kept up with the growing demand for sorghum syrup, which is commonly served over biscuits. Nashville Craft is proud to carry Muddy Pond’s traditions into our tasting room and bottles.
Golden Biscuit is a small-batch, handcrafted taste of Tennessee available in 750ml only in the Nashville Craft Distillery tasting room on the Tennessee Whiskey Trail.
